Rounding up some information about new snacks
Hello Subsnax readers and lovers of snacks,
It’s time for Snack Attack, the feature where I periodically round up some information about new and noteworthy snacks.
I adore the artwork of Keith Haring, so I dig the idea of this Van Leeuwen x Keith Haring Passion Fruit Berry Pop ice cream for Pride Month. Van Leeuwen is donating a portion of sales to The Center, which provides resources to the LGBTQ+ community in NYC.
Now there is Maple Flavor Raisin Bran. This seems very Canadian somehow, doesn’t it?
There is a Cheez-It Stop in Joshua Tree, CA, “boasting the World's First and Only Cheez-It Pump that literally pumps a stream of Cheez-It bags right into your car window.” But you’d better hurry if you want to check it out because it’s only around until June 11th.
Barilla launched a new, limited-edition Summer of Pesto Collection. I will not be tasting any of these because I can’t tolerate basil. Something about basil upsets my very sensitive stomach but if you can handle basil, go for it.
From June 5 until July 17, you can find these limited edition throwback versions of Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts with ‘60s-inspired packaging on supermarket shelves. Groovy!
